Jonah's Aquarium will guarantee live delivery of fish
in accordance with the following guarantee policy:
We will offer certain shipping methods depending
on the time of year, the shipping destination and the type and
size of fishes being shipped. If you prefer to use a shipping
method that we are not able to guarantee at the time of your
order, we will advise you, prior to shipping, that the method
you have chosen will void our live delivery guarantee. If you
choose a method that we recommend for guaranteed live delivery,
the following policies will apply:
If any of the fish we sent you are dead or
nearly dead when they arrive, you must contact us immediately
and report the problem. Otherwise, no credit can be given. Contact
us by email at jonah@jonahsaquarium.com
or by telephone at 330-347-9275. The dead fish should
be preserved by freezing them in a plastic bag or by soaking
them in rubbing alcohol or liquor such as vodka. Failing those
options, the fish may be dried. We may require that you return
the dead fish to us to receive credit. We will pay shipping on
return of dead fish if we request the return. If your loss meets
the conditions of our guarantee, credit can be given by reimbursement
or by credit toward future orders. If the fish loss was not caused
by your actions, we will guarantee live delivery of the fish
on the condition that you contact us immediately after receiving
the fish and discovering that the fish died before you received
them. If you delay receiving the fish, it may be deemed that
your actions have caused the loss. We want you to be fully
satisfied with our fishes and our service. If you have any
concerns, please let us know, so we can respond to them appropriately.
